Here’s another little doll I managed to save until she was “seasonal” 🙂 Spring-themed LPS Petite Blythe was a very happy find for me, as I got her Autumn-themed friend a while ago. Springtime is just as well-endowed with props as Autumn was (sunglasses, pinwheel) and her outfit and pet are just as cute, if not cuter. I think that the knitted hats should look rubbish on toys this small, but actually I quite like them – maybe its the bright, Easterish colours. I started off wishing that the button on her dress was better scaled, but when I’ve thought about it I reckon its actually purposefully outsize, in order to draw attention to how tiny she is (11cm). These dolls are so cute, and the other great thing about them is, of course, that they take up so little doll drawer space. I wish I’d bought a few more when they were more plentiful.

She is very cute. With her big head she can pull of a knitted hat, a knitted coat on her small body might be too much.

Thanks Andrea – I see what you mean about the hat, as her head is not to scale anyway the bulkiness of the knit doesn’t matter, good point!
